Leisure time

The excellent natural environment and cultural characteristics of the territory mean that the possibilities to enjoy leisure time are considerably broader.

Each year thousands of pilgrims walk the sections of the two Jacobean routes that cross the eastern province of Burgos. For information about the first European cultural route is advisable to visit the St. James Centre for the Promotion of Belorado.

In Vivar del Cid begins another major route, the Way of Exile, which includes the places where universal and rode the legendary hero Burgos. The Route of Charles V, which connects Laredo to the Monastery of Yuste, traverses north to south western of this land by the River Merindad Ubierna.

Worth up to Santa Engracia Picon in Pancorbo. From this fortress offers one of the best views of the Montes Bureba and Obarenes.

Easy mountain bike ride by the many paths. Each year, hunting and fishing attracts many fans. Other leisure options: the multisport in Belorado andbirding Obarenes Mountains, the valley of the Caderechas or Rio Merindad Ubierna.

Golfers are in Riocerezo a great place to enjoy. These magnificent facilities including a bar, restaurant and offers the possibility to rent everything you need for sport. In the complex there is a field with 18 holes, comfortable by low relief and a playing surface with excellent care.
