More information...

The vast territory stretching from the Rio Merindad Ubierna to County through the Bureba Treviño, and the valleys of Oca, Tirón and the Ebro, is bounded by a series of mountainous borders that help to strengthen contrasts. The Demanda and Obarenes mountains define the boundary to the north and south respectively.
This area is a transition between the regions of Cantabria and the Plateau as evidenced by the wide variety of natural logs offer.
Moorlands, hills and valleys give rise to a big variety which hightlights the extraordinary wealth of fauna and flora.

In addition, virtually all the great historical moments have left their legacy in their historical and natural patrimony, as we can see in the art and cultural events.. So, now can be covered over time along the different stages, from prehistory to the Roman Empire from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance and from the modern era to today. Civil and religious buildings, paintings and sculptures, altarpieces, engineering samples, frames and representations of urban industrial architecture form a vast catalog of assets.

And do not forget, finally, the interesting range of natural products, fruit and vegetables, meats, confectionery, dairy products, leading to impeccable cuisine able to convince the most demanding palates.
